Towards Sustainability in Air Traffic Management

چکیده
The International Civil Aviation Organization is estimated that the number of domestic and international passengers will be expected to reach six billion by 2030. This exponential growth in air transport has resulted a wide range adverse effects such as environmental impacts. purpose this research develop new traffic management, operator (pilots, controllers) load measuring systems order save fuel, flight time, thereby reducing impact, carbon emission, greenhouse gas generation, noise pollution, operating cost. paper deals with: (i) dynamic sectorization airspace configuration (ii) introduction highly approach landing procedures, (iii) dilemmas human sustainability (related individuals, society, non-governmental organizations, managers), (iv) development dedicated non-intrusive supporting based on eye-tracking, heart rate, electrodermal activity. Due consequent these developments, space may eliminate task overload reduce actual 30–40%. With developed concept aircraft able follow better trajectories avoid residential areas around airports ground noise, encounters severe weather prevent incidents accidents, decrease distance up 56% compared “published transition route”.

Safety Culture in Air Traffic Management: Air Traffic Control
In a joint research project – Human Factors in Air Navigation Services, HUFA – between the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration and Lund University the focus is on human and organizational factors and safety in air traffic control. The Swedish Air Navigation Services (ANS) are undergoing major organizational changes in order to adapt to changing demands on efficiency and technical development ...
متن کاملAir traffic knowledge management policy
A new air traffic knowledge management system is vitally important for the safety and efficiency of future air travel. It can be accomplished by developing a new-generation integrated operational decision support for pilots and controllers. At present the knowledge for decision making is only available when the latter parties share it and negotiate it in real-time. A new policy is required with...

Co-Operative Air Traffic Management (COATM) is a concept under exploration at NASA Ames Research Center for transformation of aircraft and air traffic management operations towards the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NGATS). A goal of the CO-ATM concept is to provide a scalable framework to significantly increase NAS capacity and efficiency while maintaining safety. A second goal of ...
متن کاملTowards a reliable air traffic control
Since critical socio-technical systems include people interacting with equipments in workplaces, their intrinsic reliability problems have been concerned with both these two “actors”. Air Traffic Control (ATC) is going to be such a system in which controllers use a large number of distributed software tools to provide safety ATC services. The reliability of these services relies on the availabi...
متن کاملFairness in Air Traffic Flow Management
This paper studies fairness in Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM). The existing models for ATFM do not impose the following two controls: 1) they don’t ensure that the order of flight arrivals in the resulting solution is close to the flight ordering in the original published schedules, i.e., there are no guarantees on the number of pairwise reversals and 2) the airlines are not taken into acco...
